Ya know, I read the manual just a couple of days ago and saw the thing about the beeping. The sensor detects a change in temperature not wind speed. He tried just the sensor but that didn't correct the problem. Mine started beeping- was under warrenty- Tech replaced sensor and control box. The only maintenance on the sensor unit on the roof is keep it clean of debris and the sensing element can be cleaned with a small soft bristle brush. I have seen some rigs where the sensor stuck up and had a small wind vane on it.(with small propellers) Mine don't have this, all it has is a stub of pipe( I did say pipe here) sticking up about 6" I wonder if I am missing something?
